Rowkery

Rowkery is a Mac app for Postgres and SQLite. You can browse and edit your data yourself, or let an AI agent read it through the server built into the app. Only you can change it.

A Rowkery window: the arcade database's tables on the left, a query in the editor and its 24 rows below.

What you can do with it

The window

Each window is one connection and one database. Open as many as you like; they sit as pills in the title bar, and ⌘1–⌘9 switch between them.

  • Schema column on the left: the database, its host and environment, then your tables and views. ⌘B hides it.
  • Tabs in the middle: query tabs for SQL you write, table tabs for browsing a table.
  • Inspector on the right: Quick Look, Review SQL or New connection, beside your data and never over it.

What it needs

  • macOS on Apple Silicon or Intel. Linux and Windows build from source, but they aren't tested the way the Mac app is.
  • Nothing else. The Postgres and SQLite drivers are part of the app, and there's no account to make.

Rowkery is in alpha. It isn't signed by Apple yet, so the first launch needs one extra step. Quick setup shows it.
